HomeSource has been fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers help us at our senior properties. On June 4th, in conjunction with NeighborWorks Week, we celebrated their volunteerism with an appreciation dinner.

“You are proof that volunteers are people who don’t want to be thanked for helping others, but want to thank others for giving them the opportunity to help.” said Susan Ogle, our Care Coordinator and de facto volunteer coordinator.

At the dinner we thanked volunteers from Grace Baptist Church, Callahan Baptist Church, and Farragut Church of God. Many of our tenants came out to participate as well, enjoying the good food and companionship, as well as sharing their gratification for all the volunteers do for them.
